....and our little guy has lived through 2 natural disasters! On Tuesday, the 23rd, we were all sitting around and then all of a sudden, I started to feel a rocking sensation. Then I noticed the tv starting to move back and forth. I grabbed the little man and was just about to head out the door when it stopped. At first, Dex and I started to panic that it was just specifically our house. But then moments later on facebook, there were all these updates about feeling an earthquake. That is the first time in my 30-something (ha!) years of life that I had experienced that.... and to think, baby C can check that off his list!
Then today, we withstood the power of Hurricane Irene. It didn't pack as much of a punch as we anticipated but it was a hurricane none the less.
Now let's just hope there aren't any locust invasions or dust storms any time soon! I think 2 in less than 3 weeks of life is quite enough for the wee lad! :)
Yikes!! I'm 40 something (Ahem!!) and I have never experienced either!! Lets hope that the end of the disasters for him!!
