This blog post is as late as our wee man. Conor Reid Brennan finally arrived on Wednesday, August 10th at 12:38pm. Only 72 hours after the inducement process began. Kara showed more patience than anyone could expect but finally, it became obvious that Conor had was staging the type of 'sit in' that John Lennon on honeymoon would have been proud of! He simply refused to budge and seeing as he was now the size of a small Korean family car, it was decided that he had better be forcibly removed by the 'Brute Squad', in this case, made up of the wonderful surgeons, doctors and nurses of Newton Wellesley Hospital.

So far, our boy has been as calm as he looks in this picture, he only gets a bit irritated around feeding time. That is rather regularly as he seems to part silk worm, that is the only way I can explain why he is eating his own body weight on a daily basis!
On the subject of his weight, it was a majestic 10lbs 2oz and he measures 23 inches in length. If any NBA scouts are reading this, drop me a line. The doctors all seem to be aspiring comedians, when Conor first arrived, the doctor who delivered him told Kara that he was going to hold him up so she could see him "as long as he didn't have a hernia first!"
